New York's Finest
Zigmat is one of the most original and engaging acts to come out of New York City in some time, and this album is a wonderful representation of their unique brand of world electronica. Monica's hauntingly ethereal vocals are supported by Stephen Yonkin's thick bass lines as these moving songs showcase their surprisingly depth. In other places, Stephen's bass riffs propel the songs to a climax before Monica takes them right over! This is really great stuff with a universal appeal! Recommended.
