ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Recorded in 1981, Vent d'Été (Summer's wind) features the distinctive guitar stylings of Sonny Landreth and a Louisiana funk rhythm section including Shelton Sonnier on bass, Craig Légé on keyboards, and Mike Binet on drums. The melodious sax playing of Pat Breaux is a sensual delight. The songs are inspired by Louisiana experience including alligators (M'attaper cocodrie), and the New Orleans parish prison (La prison de la Nouvelle-Orléans). A voluptuous collection of songs guaranteed to delight.
