All the songs on this CD are great
The songs in the CD are a mix of beautiful, funny, sweet and elegant. Victoria Vox sings these songs with a voice that is fresh and and pure along the caliber of Eva Cassidy. Her cover of Bruddah Iz's Over the Rainbow/What a Wonderful World and her song America bring tears to my eyes but her cover of Talking Head's Psycho Killer brings back a big smile.

I love this CD. Every song is great and I am tempted to buy copies for my friends for Christmas cause I know they'd all really enjoy this CD. Last time I instantly liked an artist like this it was Norah Jones. Keep em coming Victoria!

Fan F'in Tastic
Heard about this album on the NPR interview. Gotta say, it is totally worth it. One of my new favorites, and on high rotation in the queue. A must have if things are less than ordinary in your musical world.

amazing versatility
Ballads, jazzy stuff, a sexy rock tune, even a scratchy-record type crooner and "Psycho Killer" (!) ... she really knows how to do it, and with a ukelele! Get this one.

Puts a smile on my face
Everyone probably thinks I'm gabbing on the phone while I'm driving--but I'm not, I'm listening to Victoria Vox with her ukulele and smiling and singing along. She has a terrific voice and some nice takes on a couple of classic songs, as well as many original tunes. Light-hearted and fun.

One of the best CDs I have ever bought... EVER
seriously... if I could give this CD 6 stars I would have. Victoria Vox is amazing. She plays classic folk music and modern remakes. She has a style not found by any other musician today. I recomend listening to her interview on NPR (national public radio). It is very interesting to hear her story and inspiration for songs. Fav song: Psyco Killer!

Wonderful CD
I love this CD and played it repeatedly while on a road trip. Great songs, music and Ms. Vox has a lovely voice.

Sweet singing, great ukelele playing, nice tunes
This lady can SING!! A sweet voice and she obviously enjoys singing as well. The uke playing is excellent, too. Good tunes, well performed. This is a CD to play when you are feeling down to bring you up, or when you are up to stay up. Well worth the price.

CD Happiness
I love this CD -- the voice, the songs, and especially the ukulele. It's happy music that makes me want to smile and brightens up my day. I play it ALL the time and I've not tired of it yet! :-)

New face, new voice

Wonderful singing, great songs, sexy lady
Here is a lady who obviously enjoys singing, no matter what the song, and that joy comes through in everything she does. The ukulele playing is nice, but it's the voice that makes this set. Victoria is by turns sexy, cute, sweet and raucus, and she carries all of it off with a greast sense of humor and drama. This CD is much more than worth the price. A wonderful talent, good songs, and just plain good music
