Muhyiddin Ibn 'Arabi (1165-1240) was one of the greatest mystics of the Abrahamic tradition. His linked themes of the Unity of Being and the Perfectibility of Man are universal and enduring concepts which transcend all religous and cultural divisions and draw out the meaning at the heart of every true spiritual teaching.
