greatness is upon us
Dam, I thought I would never be happy at all. This guy US is wise beyond his hood. Being a desert mountain man from Nevada who has fucked the world, I never thought a man from Brooklyn would be able to enter my world. This cd must be played over and over

The quintasential attack....
As I just told him two minutes ago on the phone this record has got me through ish, has lifted my spirits, has whetted my appetite for a cohesive, well thought out, naturally executed hip hop smash. A lot of people claiming to be performers have a lot of good things to say but don't have a voice. US proves in this debut release a rare authority and command over the tasty beats he raps on. This makes him one of the illest emcees I know. It can't be done again, my friend I'm glad I have a copy.
Peace and Blessings

My fave indie album
This album is so dope on so many levels. US already knows Im a fan so no need to fellate his work, *Pause* but if you had to cop 2 cds. This would be one.
The other one would be mine.
Ask US if you dont believe me.
This album does so many things in one sonic dose that artists with several albums fail to do with one which makes it a very COMPLETE project. This is HONESTLY how I like my hip hop. Raw and Well done at the same time.

You either won't get it or you'll be blown away
A refreshing change. Just when I was sick and tired of the rapid decline of the commercial shit, this comes along. (Gotta thank L-3 for the free copies.) As always with Alberto, the lyrics are masterful. The beats on this one just elevate him to a whole other level though. Overall, it's a little out there, so you need to listen to it 3 times to get used to it. Once you see it, you'll be captivated.

P.S. If you like JaRule, don't buy this CD.

Nothing short of wonderful
This album demonstrates how one man is all men. How one man is a crowd in that the album navigates the length and breath of human emotional terrain. There is a delicate yet effortless balancing of love and war on every track that is rarely attempted in modern music. You feel the sense of urgency on Give It Away as he attempts to reconstruct the idea of being a modern man beyond the nets of Jesus' fishermen--on the loose, without restraint. Operating with a seamless integration of Spanish and English, patois and formality, he represents the beauty and tension of his native polyglot Brooklyn. Illuminating, unapologetically humorous, and immediately infectious. Nothing short of wonderful.

Dopeness
Just got a chance to meet the brother recently. I work at a radio station, and meet a lot of mc's and hear a lot of their music. This is the first cd in a long time that I had handed to me, and won't hand back.
Much props, the kid is gonna go places.
