ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
This album is a collection of original compositions, using the styles of the vintage Ragtime Era as a starting point for new syncopated expression. Rip-roaring favorites are included (“Razor Blades,” “Blue Lampshade,” "Elephant Tracks," "Skunk Hollow Rag," and “Over the Top”), balanced by relaxed pieces ("Strollin'," "Blackberry Fox Trot"), contemplative pieces ("Meditation," "Breadline Blues"), and artistic pieces ("The Constellations" Suite: Cepheus, Triangulum, Cassiopeia, and Cetus). With this album, nearly two decades of composition are reviewed and the cream of the crop is presented.
