Timothy Moke began playing the cornet as a fifth grader in New Hope, Minnesota. He studied with many excellent trumpet teachers including his father Dr. David F. Moke, Donald Spangler, Charles Schlueter, Dr. David Bladwin, Ronald Hasselmann, Manny Laureano and David Greenhoe.

Mr. Moke received music degrees from the University of Minnesota and the University of Iowa. After a four year engagement with the Cedar Rapids Symphony Orchestra and teaching music in the Ft. Madison Community School District in Ft. Madison, Iowa, Mr. Moke moved to Arizona where he currently works as a music educator and a freelance classical/sacred soloist.

He participated in the 2002 WELS Conference on Worship, Music and the Arts at Carthage College in Kenosha, Wisconsin, as well as the July 2005 conference at Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, Minnesota. Mr. Moke has recorded seven CDs: The Lord’s Prayer, Joy to the World, Beauty & Power, Magnificent Christian Hymns Vols. 1-3 and Magnificent Christmas Hymns. Moke is a member of Calvary Lutheran Church WELS in Chandler, Arizona where he conducts the church’s Wind Ensemble.

Georg Masanz began organ lessons at the age of ten. From 1986-1990 he was under the tutelage of organist Oskar Birchmeier. Later he studied computer science at the ETH Zürich. From 1992-98 he was enrolled in the church music program at the Musikhochschule Luzern where he studied with Jakob Wittwer. Mr. Masanz also studied music composition with Josef Kost in Luzern and music improvisational techniques with Rudolf Lutz in Basel. Masanz finished his studies in Luzern, receiving a “Teaching and Soloist” diploma.

He studied with Father Theo Flury (Monastery of Einsiedeln) from 1997-99. Mr. Masanz has attended master classes with Naji Hakim (Paris) and Wolfgang Sieber (Luzern). Besides his work as the church organist in Kirchdorf, his other versatile musical activities include teaching, choir conducting, arranging, and composing.
