The self-titled EP is the first release from TIGERcat, a San Francisco-based band already featured locally in the SF Chronicle, SF Weekly, The Examiner, Live105 radio, KZSU Stanford Radio, KUSF and KALX. The EP features five songs including their mesmerizing single "Weighed Down." TIGERcat displays a wide range of style both in production and vocals from indie pop to futuristic synth and electronic based dance. The songs highlight Natasha’s vocal talent from the sing-song rap of "Ooh Ah Ah" to the mega wattage of "City in Flames" and "Weighed Down." Each song maintains an element of fun and friskiness and a sound unique to both main collaborators. Since the end of 2010, TIGERcat songs have been a sought after commodity. "All Yours" has been featured on Live105, the Bay Area’s biggest alternative radio station, for “Radio Soundcheck”, a show dedicated to introducing the best new music. "Juice" has been licensed to a successful Los Angeles TV/film music placement company. "Weighed Down" has been chosen to be remixed by famed British DJ/producer Greg Wilson who recently has won praise for his remixes of The XX and Goldfrapp. An extraordinary music video for "Weighed Down" has also been released, shot by accomplished cinematographer Joseph Seif. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QF9mqMahUQ0
TIGERcat has a stunning live show showcasing synchronized visuals and lighting. The band has already opened for legendary DJ Mark Farina as well as rising Bay Area talent K.Flay. TIGERcat is slated to open for major label artist Oh Land this summer. TIGERcat is also developing an online video broadcasting channel and the band will be touring nationally in the near future.
