ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Traditional Music of the Bantu was recorded and produced by Brent Chancellor for Thevillagefoundation in 2002. It presents a stunning view into the thousands year old tradition of music in Uganda. This compilation includes music of the Bakonzo people recorded high in the Rwenzori Mountains on the border of Congo and drumming from the Mpigi region, outside Kampala, recorded in the Mpanga forest.
