ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
About The Release:
Pretty Girls is a fast-hitting, 4-song EP that leaks and spits the glory (and gory) of when punk was stripped down and fun. As the long-awaited follow up to their full-length Wet Sounds release, the Runs once again prove that they are one of the few bands with the courage and insight to crack open and expose the root of the human condition with topics like girls, not understanding girls, beer, backroom politics, apathy about doing stuff, and girls. the Runs were recorded by Bart Thurber at House of Faith studios in Oakland, CA and he agreed that, like a mysterious fish wrapped in newspaper given to you in an alley, this EP is full of raw hits.

About the Runs:
the Runs have been a mainstay in the San Jose and Bay Area punk scene for years, playing alongside amazing and impactful bands such as The Cliftons,The Forgotten, Cobra Skulls, Fracas, the Black Angels, and a have supported Medway garage punk legends Armitage Shanks on three west coast tours. After some downtime and a relocation to San Francisco, the Runs are ready to make another, well, run.
