ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
The poet versus the town crier is the monstrous debut EP from fort william/Glasgow based quartet THE PARADOX. Mixing authentic hip hop and heavy metal to blistering effect.

Radio 1s Vic Galloway has already play listed songs from the EP on his pivotal show and has also chosen ”black eye, kiss of death” for his “back of the net” feature which puts one song per week up for free download!. Jim Gallately has also play listed various songs from the EP on his “exposure” show!.

For Brian Jamieson (vocals, formerly DAMAGED GOODZ) who in the past has opened for XZIBIT,BLACK EYED PEAS,BUSTA RHYMES,50 CENT&G-UNIT,LLOYD BANKS,THE GAME,THE STREETS etc’ Jim Reade(guitars),Kevin Stott (bass) and Shaun Mathers (drums) who under another guise opened for BIFFY CLYRO; the live show is one of the strongest weapons in THE PARADOX’s arsenal and with 2 sold out shows at Glasgow’s legendary King Tuts Wah Wah Hut in support of
EL-P and NECRO.

The band’s reputation is spreading fast!.

DAILY RECORD 5/5 “THE PARADOX tear a gaping hole into scots music!”
