Album Notes
In July of 2018, Chris Clark-Johnson and Logan Billingsley of Seattle-based rock quartet Coyote Lovely collided with NYC-based jazz vocalist Serena Albero, and local singer-songwriters Sanya Cowal and Carlos Santos. It was decided that a massive collaboration would take place - a fusion of many songwriters, producers, musicians and creatives dedicated to spreading love and connection through music. Thus, The Odd Kids were born.

Unified by classic funk/jazz influences like Stevie Wonder, paired with the funk-rock energy of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, and highlighting horn sections composed by Aiden Ryser (tenor sax) and Keegan Metcalf (trumpet), the group’s stage show covers a range of genres from upbeat funk tunes and alt-jazz ballads to dark, hard-hitting rock music.

The Odd Kids have been recognized by the Seattle Spectator, gained radio play on KXSU, and played venues like Chop Suey, Vera Project, Fremont Abbey, and KTUB. They were the winners of the Seattle University Battle of the Bands 2019, and performed at Quadstock 2019 alongside MAX, EVAN GIIA, and Dysplay. The group's debut single "The Armadillo" was released on May 16th 2019, and their debut album Odd Kids Club is coming July 11th 2019.
