ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
The Mallett Brothers Band is an independent rock and roll / Americana / country band from Maine. Their busy tour schedule since forming in 2009 has helped them to build a dedicated fanbase across the U.S. and beyond while still calling the state of Maine their home. With a style that ranges from alt-country to Americana, country, jam and roots rock, theirs is a musical melting pot that's influenced equally by the singer/songwriter tradition as by harder rock, classic country and psychedelic sounds.
"We’re very excited to put out a live album,” says band frontman Luke Mallett. “We’ve had fans requesting one for years, but the timing was finally right on this one. We’re also glad we recorded a hometown show; there was a lot of energy in the room that night and we’re happy we got to capture it.”
“Live in Portland, Maine” is the band’s seventh full-length release and their first live album. It was recorded at Port City Music Hall by Pete Nenortas of Satronen Sound, mixed and mastered by acclaimed engineer Jonathan Wyman at the Halo Studio, and will be available on all online distribution channels and at select small retailers on March 1st.
