The Fur Coats are a six-piece 'psychedelic-soul-pop' band living in Portland, OR. The band's lineup includes members of Wampire, Cat Hoch, and Charlie Hilton, among others in the Portland music scene. The band was featured on the PDX POP NOW! compilation and Music Festival, and their music has been getting play on local radio stations including XRAY FM and NPR. To create a visual representation of their sound, the band has worked with Director Costa Gouintanis to create music videos for each of their releases. This has garnered the attention of publications including The Portland Mercury. The alternative weekly has reviewed and featured the videos 'Desperate', 'Not Gonna Stop' and 'Don't Worry' noting, 'When old-fashioned rock 'n' roll meets laidback glam, hearts are won. Thanks to a judiciously sexy application of pianos and horns, The Fur Coats turn heads...'.
