ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
"Never Enough" was recorded at Gradwell House Recording in NJ, and mastered at Audiosiege (Sleep, Yob, Corrosion Of Conformity) in Portland, OR. The cover painting is by the excellent Drew Elliott (Sunn O)), Amorphis, Rwake, Necrophagia.....)

"Philadelphia rock outfit The Company Corvette released their third album “Never Enough” on August 5th to coincide with the band’s upcoming performance at Psycho Las Vegas. Prepare to hear an incredible piece of glorious Space/Psyche-infused Stoner Rock. The trio providing that sonic ass-kicking is bassist/vocalist Ross Pritchett, guitarist Alexei Korolov, and drummer Peter Hurd as the new album follows 2011’s “End Of The Summers” and 2009’s “The Company Meeting“. The band has greatly evolved since those earlier outings and the proof is in the amazing content on the aptly titled “Never Enough” for no, there is never enough of great music like this.

From the cosmos crossing expanse of the opening song “Foot In Mouth“, things begin with some downtuned and dense Desert Rock. Some plodding riffs, crunchy rhythms and opiated vocals are all present and accounted for on this heavy rocker’s trippy time traveler. Things remain just as mind melting on other incredible tracks like “Devilwitch“, a fantastically fuzzy free ride with crushing propensity and really tortured, early Metal-type vocals, and “Sick“, a harsh foray into some soupy sludge. That sludgened doom vibe continues on “Stomach” while the album begins to gradually pick up speed tempo-wise with songs like “Burn Out“, “The Stuff“, and “Pigeon“, the album ending instrumental. All in all, there’s more then enough crap music out there to suffer through but when it comes to killer tunes like this, there is “Never Enough” from The Company Corvette." -Metal Nexus

Never Enough LP review
Philadelphia's The Company Corvette…..
It's equal parts Cream, Jimi Hendrix, Black Sabbath, and whatever those vocals are. Fans of the eponymous Black Sabbath album will find this to be a refreshing sounding album. Slick it is not. It's dirty and crusty. There are rough-hewn edges all over the songs.
The guitars are psychedelic and raw and feature a goodly number of colors in the crayon box here. Feedback, wah, and straight up riffing rule the day though, but the bass guitar's not to be outdone as well.
The vocals...well I've not quite figured them out, but they belong here. They're a perfect fit.
Where The Company Corvette succeeds is by harkening back to the good old days of albums. The songs build and build to a crescendo.
There are plenty of money shots all around here. In a modern era when singles are all the rage, it's quite pleasing to hear a band focusing on the 45 minutes on their LP.
