ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Three birds from Memphis playing catchy punk tunes with a thicker, gruffer tone. Its simple songs with a lot of kick. With songs about love, hate, drunken thoughts, missing cats, and food. Things we can all relate to.
Sound wise, there is a definite 90's grunge influence as well as garage gently layered over the punk energy. But there's no denying that if you are fans of Screeching Weasel, Descendents, The Vandals, Dead Milkmen, Black Flag, or countless other punk bands, you're more than likely going to be into this.
Think if The Breeders decided to crank up their distortion, got a thicker bass sound, hired a metal drummer, and then started pumping out some loud punk rock. That's the Cassowaries's "Something to Eat".
