by The Badlands

Ultraviolent is a song that can only be described as massive. The drum introduction punches through the solar plexus like a cannonball at short range, coupled with the Badlands signature gritty, riff-driven guitar and heavy bass.

Album Notes
The Badlands have returned in 2019 with their highly anticipated new single ‘Ultraviolent’. The song was produced by Lacueva Studio’s Nick Didia (of Rage Against the Machine, Pearl Jam, Bruce Springsteen fame). The song is nothing short of massive. With a drum introduction that punches through the solar plexus like a cannonball at short range, there’s no way you won’t know about it.

The band have a solid reputation for gritty, addictive, rock n roll fuelled performances. This gathering of gritty, rock and roll showmen draw their influences from a veritable mixture of 60’s/70’s Blues and Rock, combined with elements of 90’s Skate/Surf Punk, which can be heard in the solid, grungy bass licks and roaring guitar riffs that underpin their songs.
