ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Alchemy & Chemistry is the latest 12-song album by Tent Show Troubadours. Alchemy & Chemistry combines disparate elements on variety of songs which are methodically mixed to make musical magic. Eleven of the songs were written by Bob Hoot (guitar/vocals) with several parts Tin Pan Alley mixed with heavier metals. Base elements added by Doug McLeod (bass) and Ben Lokuta (drums). Tim Walsh (guitar/vocal) and Gabe Burdulis (guitar) helped turn lead (led n.; leed n., adj.) into gold. Shawndell Marks (keyboard) and Chris Wagoner (violn/mandolin/accordion) did string together these elements with taut drawn steel — organ(ic) and electron(ic) — heated with musical bellows to fuse it together. Lest it be overlooked, Jenniper Hylbert (vocals) and Molly Lins (vocals) lent the catalyst of silver-throated melody and harmony creating mellifluous reactions.
