Album Notes
Stijn Kuppens Aka Roger Lee K writes music that he describes himself as contemporary music in his own personal style. The music shows influences of many kinds, historical, cultural and experimental. His music has several layers and is meant to have a layer that is accessible for a wide public. Deeper levels make his music interesting for repetitive listening.

Peace for Twins is inspired on the story of two twin brothers who were born on at the end of the second World War. Despite the initial inspiration, this composition for cello and piano makes you travel in your head, making up your own story.

Peace for Twins is dedicated to Chinese artist Ai Weiwei, to thank him for his impressive documentary Human Flow, which shows the global refugee issue and helps to give this drama a human face.

Peace for Twins is linked to the book Het Verdriet van Vlaanderen, written by Flemish author Kristien Hemmerechts and published by De Geus.
