Album Notes
Hi y’all. Travelin Tunes is my third album release on West Texas Swamp Records. It continues the musical journey I began on 2018’s Into the Great Unknown and 2019’s Twilight Highway. My friend mandolin player Steve Curtis told me he likes to listen to my music on his road trips to his vacation home in Colorado. So voila, here’s a collection of ten new songs capturing that road trip spirit. I play guitars, bass and keys with the addition of a few loops and MIDI drums. Travelin Tunes is a collection of nine instrumentals and one vocal. The instrumentals are my originals, the vocal is a cover of a song by Austin songwriter Dana Kolflat who used to open for Townes Van Zandt back in the day at Austin songwriter haven emmajoe’s. The music is kind of hard to categorize but it all captures the spirit of rock n roll and the American West. Hope you all enjoy the tunes. I enjoyed creating this collection! While you’re at it, check out my other CD Baby releases, Into the Great Unknown, Twilight Highway and my recent singles Nazis in the White House and Hot ‘n’ Dusty.
