ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
STEEL ASSASSIN was the top Metal band in Boston in the early '80's. They opened for METALLICA, RAVEN, TALAS, Y&T to name a few. A kult metal band in the vein of JUDAS PRIEST, IRON MAIDEN, SAXON, ACCEPT, etc. They never got signed back in the 80's with the exception of their song "Executioner" that made it onto Metal Blade's "Metal massacre VI" COMP. L.P. in 1985. The main line up of the band soon disbanded in 1985. Then in 2004, four of the five members decided to get back together and record a brand new album, "War of the Eight Saints". They recruited ex-TRIPHAMMER vocalist John Falzone. In 1997 they were signed to Sentinel Steel Records, who released the " War...record" to critical acclaim. The band then went to Europe twice for some shows. If early U.S. 80's metal is what you're into, then check them out!!!
