Album Notes
Long time singer, songwriter, musician and now producer, Stephan Plummer returns with her much awaited single, Heartbeat.

Be prepared with kleenex to take the journey back to 911 with this strong vocal and instrumental duo.
Stephan weaves the heartbeat throughout the song to remind the listener of our common human connection to every New Yorkers heartbreak. Their heartbeat is our heartbeat. We are all one. One soul lost and broken and one soul found and forever beating.

What a beautiful song. I hope that the people in New York will have a chance to hear this. I felt very moved by the words and by Stephan's beautiful voice. One of the best songs I have heard in a long time. Keep the music comming!!!!

Bringing us center.
Heartbeat is a beautiful, heartfelt gift to us all. The lyric addresses the pain of loss and confusion but also the healing, unity and strength discovered in the midst of this event. Stephan sings this so soulfully; you can feel her presence relating to those touched most closely and the rest of us longing for healing from afar. The arrangement and progression of the song is fluid and moving. The percussion is the heartbeat, breath holding, and prayer for peace. I've really been enjoying my new album! And because Stephan produced this herself, the money goes to her. Purchase of this album supports her music directly, unlike the big labels where the artist only see a couple pennies from your purchase. This is a $10 well spent!

This is a beautiful song that Stephan connects us to each and everyone that lives and breathes. A must have for your collection. Love her new single.

The steady beat underlying the nuanced instrumental & powerful vocal interpretation captures the universal rhthym of humamity. We are reminded that through music, we can share our pain, but more importantly, our hope.

This is Stephan's newest song. What a treat to hear this beautiful connection with heart and soul. A must have for anyones music collection.

This song so touched my soul that I had to urge Stephan to record it. She's outdone herself with incredibly rich and soulful vocals, the blending of haunting piano, flute and drums, and the deeply healing and hopeful message of the strength of our unity in one "heartbeat."

Moving, powerfully sung lyrics and well played acoustics. Stephan's music is invocational as well as inspirational - touching something deep within the soul.

From the opening words, "Remember where you were at the moment that you heard?" to the haunting melody on the piano, this song stays with you, in your heart and mind long after your first listen.
It is a moving, powerful work and one needs to be heard. I had the pleasure of working with Stephan Plummer in the early stages when she was writing this song, and when I came upon a melody on the piano, I knew I contributed to the soulful and haunting resonance of the piece. This song weaves a spell, and tells a powerful story. Stephan is a strong wordsmith and musician and I am deeply honored to be one of the musicians on this important piece of work. Her "Heartbeat" needs to be heard. Along with her guitar, she has added flute, percussion, piano, bass, and her strong vocals which tell the story with such compelling conviction. The heartbeat is here,Stephan Plummer has arrived!
