Danville is a journey
Composer Mark Snyder, in typical form, has created another series of thought-provoking musical environments that carry the listener on a fantastic and colorful sonic journey. Danville is the latest of Snyder's work which is always strongly reflective of his unique compositional personality and musical vision. He continually shows a mastery of the latest innovations in electronic music but, as always, the technical process takes a backseat, serving as effective tools to realize his musical storytelling. A wondeful project which deserves many repeated listenings!

mark snyder's cd is a soundtrack for your day.
this cd is not only a soundtrack to the quietest moments our days hold but it is a map to the day itself if you are willing to follow. i love the range of emotion and the use of sparse vocals. it is clearly a complete world unto itself and i can't wait to hear more from this artist.
