Driving to the edge

by Slant 6

Serious tunes about Cars. Yeah, you would think it would be hokey bad 60's sounding stuff. It's actually more like Sammy meets the Beatles. Tight recording with lyrics that took work. Good stories. People into cars will understand the lyrics perfectly. If

Album Notes
Listen. If you like vocal harmonies, lyrics that make sense (for this subject matter!), good performances, and in particular...everything about muscle cars and hot rods, then click on this link. How many albums have you seen that are dedicated to this niche?

This would make an excellent gift to the car nut friend or family member.

Although this is novelty oriented, the tunes are not corney rehashed 60's ripp-offs. They're big Les Paul through Marhsall, SVT Bass, Big Drum sounding songs. I guess you could say they may just be BIG HAIR tunes!

Mopar, Grand Nationals, 55 Chevy, GTO's, Street Racing, El Camino's, etc.

Craig Martin. Vocals, guitars, bass, other instruments as needed. Producer. Engineer. Performed and recorded for a long time.

Scott Henderson. Drums, percussions, vocals. Performed and recorded for a long time.

Oh Yea! Welcome back to cool car music!!
Am I ever glad I happened across this bands music. I thought all the gear head music had dried up with the Beach Boys. NOT SO! I'm one of the old dinosaurs they sing about and love this new groups music. These old muscle cars live on in our memories and in your music. Love it. Play on!

Cool Melodic Hard Driving Rock.
This is cool! Why aren't more people writing a review?

Drivin' to the Edge
Finally a band that has moved forward from Rock-a-Billy and The whole Beach Boys/ Jan and Dean, scene. These guys Bring a more modern and realistic Rock sound to the Car Club scene. True 70s and 80s Rock music, that still relates to the whole culture of Hotrods!

The guy that wrote the tunes!

Thanks for caring,
Of course I rated it high! Thanks for caring. There isn't anyone writing about cars these days, unless it's a commerical...and they borrow tunes that weren't even intended to be about cars. Like a Rock....

At least the lyrics tell some stories that aren't about killing, ho's and pimps, etc. Thanks for the compliment
