Album Notes
(2-21-05) New Mixtape at site FREE((NEWS 6-7-04))Singe is in the middle of Baghdad, he is doing good for where he is located. While out there he has been working on new songs which will be released free online at our site late 2004, also Singe has blessed DANKMOBB w/ him featuring on the cover of HIGHTIMES|GROWAMERICA (june/july).

now back to your regular schedule....

May 15. 1977, was born an ill minded young artist. The
Life, which followed, was one, which caused poetry to
Flow through the veins of a poor young man who in his
Life has gone through some extremely hard times. Some
Speak and admire a life of the streets, others like
SINGE have lived and breathed it! Trying to evolve to
A business man, focus from pain turned into lyrics of
Truth. Some a bit harsh to the ears that hear it and
That don't relate. Other lyrics, well, the words of a
Sick-minded microphone Demon. From the depths of San
Bernardino's brown roots, to the Bay Area the sound and
Way of life of DANKMOBB was brought into reality.
The oldest of nine children and the determination to
Break the chains of a cycle of hell, brings the fuel
In which SINGE raises the fires of hell itself! Some
Ask to this day, why Demons, hell, and the dark words
Which are so often heard. Well for one, reality is
What is physically known, which is what is surrounding
Us. Life is not a silver spoon for folks like ours,
Life is not a college degree, not a big fancy home, so
What I do know is what, and how we suffer. With all
This in focus, there's only one-way out of this
Bullshit bucket, and that's up! From these ashes the
Split personality of Carlos A. Arellano, SINGE was
Born! So those with doubts, just sit back, you do
Yours, we do ours! In 1999 I left California for one
Hell of a trip. Enlisted in the Army, and ended up at
Ft.Benning Georgia. During my time, all I can do is
Think about life and what I really want to do in it.
Spending time in Virginia, Atlanta, & Alabama, I've
Met the poetry of the Dirty South itself. Being that
Since 15 years of age, I've been rapping this was a
Chance to do my thing, as well as having fun with our
Fellow soldiers. People were actually surprised to
Hear a Chicano rap the way I did. With that being
Said, I put it down for the bay in a major way! Now I
Know exactly what it is that I want! My foot in the
Door, and STASHBOX RECORDS to be a real underground
Hard hitter. For those who have purchased the first
Album, thanks much. The whole thing was actually a
Damn karaoke machine, the purpose was for people to
Hear the lyrics and the style in which was coming at
Them. The new shit, a lot more time and digital
Recording has made this album "THE EPIDEMIC" an East
Bay classic. We look forward to creating more and
Interesting sounds to those DANKSTA's who "Blaze em
Up, Blaze em up!" This buds for you, so twist it, roll
It, smoke it, and enjoy it! SINGE

Overall this was a pretty good release from Singe.
1 "All Damn Day"
Damn a clean ass beat by Sausee to get the album started off right. Singe comes with a good delivery on the mic and his lyrics are on point. It's a mix of political, gangsta, and kick back type of lyrics. He has a good style on the mic. One of my favorite songs on the album, this song is tight as fuck.

2 "B.L.T."
Bitches Love This is what B.L.T. stands for. Another tight ass beat by Sausee for this song. Singe comes with another solid flow on the mic. He talks about various girls. One of those fuck every girl in the world type tracks. A cool song overall, I'm loving the beat by Sausee.

3 "BBG's" ft. Sonny Black, SuiPSYedKing
I'm not feeling this beat as much as the previous two. This beat is layed down by SuiPSYedKing. Sonny Black starts it off on the mic, but I'm not feeling him at all. I don't like his delivery at all. SuiPSYedKing has a lisp his voice and his flow is alright on this one. Singe comes cool on his verse, but I'm not feeling this song much, the beat could have been better and the features could have been done without.

4 "Close Ya Eyes"
A fucking clean ass beat by PK Rippa. Singe rips the mic on this one. A variation on what he talks about. Everything is tight on this song. A tight beat and a good flow from Singe from start to finish, I'm feeling this song to the fullest.

5 "From the West" ft. SuiPSYedKing
I'm not feeling SuiPSYedKing on this one at all. He does the hook and really sounds bad. The beat by Misery is alright, but not the best beat on the album. Singe comes with a solid flow on the mic. This song needed a new hook though, I wasn't feeling SuiPSYedKing at all. A decent song.

6 "FTT (Pump the Military Mix)" ft. SuiPSYedKing
Fuck The Taliban, that what FTT stands for. A solid beat by Misery. SuiPSYedKing starts it off on the mic with a decent verse and he also does the hook which is just saying fuck the Taliban over and over again. Singe comes hard on the mic talking about the Taliban and about being in the army. A solid song for the lyrics, not into the beat as much as some other songs and SuiPSYedKing didn't have that strong of a verse.

7 "Jacket Full of Metals"
SuiPSYedKing lays down a hard ass beat for this song. Singe comes with some cool lyrics on the mic putting it down for the armed forces of America. Singe puts it down for the armed forces on this one. A good song overall, I'm feeling it.

8 "Life"
The beat is recycled from "Offspring." Singe comes with a good flow on the verses, but I don't like his singing on the chorus. He should have used a female voice on the hook and it would have been perfect. A good song except for the hook.

9 "Living Dead"
A clean ass beat by SuiPSYedKing for this song. It has a good pace to and gets your head moving. Singe talks about how everyone is the living dead and how we really only can make a few decisions in life that really matter. A tight song overall, I'm feeling it.

10 "No Bodie Knows"
Misery lays down a good beat for this song that has a cool pace to it and a dark feel. It has lots of clips from Night of the Living Dead in the background. Singe comes hard on the mic to a flow that fits perfectly with the beat. Some horrorcore type of shit on this song. Hardcore words from Singe on this song, I'm feeling it.

11 "The Epidemic"
PK Rippa lays down a clean beat for this song. Singe talks about those who are addicted to writing raps in the middle of the night. A cool song from Singe, I'm feeling the flow, the beat and the lyrics.

12 "Thrilla Seekers" ft. PK Rippa, SuiPSYedKing, C: Tone, Sonny Black
PK Rippa brings a tight beat to the table on this one. I'm not feeling the flows all that much though. Singe comes with a good verse and SuiPSYedKing comes good on his verse too, but I'm not feeling PK Rippa, C: Tone or Sonny Black on their verses. Singe also does the chorus well too. A decent song overall, there should have been fewer features or none at all.

13 "To the Fullest"
Pk Rippa lays down another solid beat for this song. Singe comes hard on the mic again with a perfect delivery. The beat really gets your head moving as Singe spits some good lyrics on the mic. I'm feeling this song overall.

14 "Welcome to the Game"
Seusee lays down a basic beat, not nearly as good as his other beats. Singe spits some good flows on the mic with a solid delivery. It could have been better, but it's still a solid song overall.

15 "When We Meet Again"
PK Rippa lays down a good beat to finish the album with. Singe comes with an ok flow, I'm not feeling his delivery as much as the other songs on the album. He dedicates this one to all the ones that have past away. A decent song to finish the album with, I'm not feeling it as much as some of the other songs.

Overall this was a pretty good release from Singe. I didn't have a chance to listen to his first release, but this one had some tight songs on it. The production was very strong done by a few different folks. Singe brings the heat to the table with some solid mic work on just about every song. The features are really the low point of the album. I think Singe needed to either get better features or make this a totally solo album. He could have also used some female background vocals on some of the hooks. Besides that though this was a pretty good album. I found myself keeping the first two songs on constant repeat. A good release from Singe, it could have been much better and the features bring some of the songs down, but there were still some good songs to bump.
