Album Notes
The Quasars rip out primitive, gutbucket sounds rooted in the jump blues tradition, deftly folding in aspects of R&B, Rockabilly, Gospel and Soul. Sean’s performances are that of a southern bible‐thumper under the spell of the Devil’s music; he’s got the frantic energy of Jerry Lee and Little Richard and a visceral wail that’s somewhere between Howlin Wolf and Mickey Hawks. Witnessing a Quasars performance is like witnessing an exorcism, and that’s beginning to garner them major attention from the national and international rockin’ scene.
