ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Scandal Circus became a band in 2011 when Pelle, Andreas and Carl decided to leave the band Mindfuel and form a new one with fresh songs and ideas.
The band needed a singer though, and through a common friend they found Johan who is a well accomplished vocalist. After one rehearsal all of the pieces fell into place and Scandal Circus was formed.
In the spring of 2011 songs were written and demos were recorded, and in the summer, the recordings for the debut album began. Scandal Circus performed live for the first time in the spring of 2011 in a Swedish contest called Released/Unsigned which is arranged by Sweden Rock Festival /Crank´it up /Jägermeister.
In the beginning of 2012 all the recordings for the upcoming debut album were finished at AA-Studios, and in the summer the 11 songs were mastered and completed. The title of the album was “In The Name Of Rock n´ Roll”. The album was released digitally worldwide and in October 2012 the printed CDs reached the hands of Scandal Circus.
In May 2012, a video was recorded for the title track “In The Name Of Rock n´ Roll”. Because of the work with the album and the video there was not so much time for live performances, but there was time for a few anyway. On one of these gigs Scandal Circus shared the stage with Bullet and Electric Boys.
The plan for Scandal Circus was then, more than clear : Recording another album.
So, in 2015, « Mind Your Own Business », the second album was released.
A powerful album, filled with heavy riffs and melodic singing and choruses easy to sing along with. To this, Scandal Circus added a lot of joy, humor and craziness.
Unfortunately, in 2016, Carl decided to leave Scandal Circus after the band opened for the famous Chris « The Mean Man » Holmes (ex-WASP).
But this didn't mean the end of Scandal Circus !
After looking for a bass player for almost two years, Scandal Circus finally found the right MF...
Pete Maroni made his first appearance with the band on October 12th. 2018 at Charles Dickens !

The plans for 2019 are to be able to rock on more stages and to spread our music around the world. There are also plans to start working on new materials.
No doubt that you will hear of Johan, Andreas, Pelle and Pete very soon !
