ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Born and Raised in Harlem. Influenced by Tribe Called Quest, Big Daddy Kane, Slick Rick, Wu Tang and Nas. Creator of the genre called "CONTRADICTIVE RAP". This genre is where gangsta rap and concious rap merge with party rap to give the gray area called hip hop. ....... hip hop is not dead its living in Sam Paradise veins, yes he is contaminated with hip hop so much we had to name the disease "contradictive rap" its early signs are that you may stop listening to wack mc's. then it grows and you start to open your ears and listen to hip hop and not hear it. as the days go by you will start to appreciate hip hop for all its worth. the message, the rythm, the flow , the hooks, the creativity and the art of hip hop .the only way to cure it is to become one with it so please buy "welcome to sam paradise" the album the cure so you can become one with hip hop.

THE CREATOR OF THE GENRE CONTRADICTIVE RAP
I bought this album expecting to hear at least 3-4 hot songs. I listened to all 19 tracks and I can not tell you a song I didn't like. Sam Paradise has the story telling ability of a best selling author. His topics are well developed and rhyme ability is as sharp as those Japanese kitchen knives you see in the infomericals. Sam Paradise is the creator of the genre contradictive rap (he explains this concept on track 4).

My personal favorites are 'Uh Yeah', 'I'm A Star' and 'Three The Hardway'.

6 out of 5 stars.
