Album Notes
SABBERTONIC contains a unique blend of spacey guitar work, psychedelic visions, heavy metal, and acoustic guitar work.

Strong melodic song writing is used to take the listener somewhere new. The songs are mysterious and spacey and vary quite a bit in style, tempo, and intensity. The Lyrics are about more than just sex and violence. There are two instrumental songs that describe worlds seldom visited.

The Guitar work invokes an organic, fluid feeling not of this earth. Emotional content, melodies and tone have control over speed and distortion. It is dynamic and ranges from clean metallic twang to screaming monsters from other dimensions. A modified Fender Stratocaster and homemade effects are used to accomplish this magic. The guitar players 25+ years of experience helps create this sound but there is something extra going on here. Some form of Magic Dark has contacted Sabbertonic. It is only fair to give thanks and credit to that which lies beyond.

Some of the selections on No Escape Phantom Recluse has reminded listeners of groups such as Pink Floyd, Ozric Tentacles, Alice Cooper, and King Crimson. Progressive rock influences are mixed with Heavy Metal as well as influences from American Indian, Classical and Spanish music. Drawing from these diverse backgrounds, SABBERTONIC expands into a new space.

The Mission Goal has always been to create original, uncompromised music for the sole purpose of artistic expression.

Be Advised: Sabbertonic is not a commercial product, nor is it intended to be. It has not been Produced, Mixed or Mastered for Mass Consumption. These Songs are the musings of the Phantom Recluse, recorded in his private basement studio just BECAUSE. A little rough, a little raw, a little unexpected. Sketches of what could be and what has been. An offering to the unknown.

No Escape Phantom Recluse is 73 minutes long.

Unique blend of many influences
Loved the CD. Raw in some places while polished and refined
in others. Excellent guitars atop a strong backbeat. My
biggest complaint was there wasn't more songs.
