Album Notes
I am in short a fly rodding junkie and clawhammer banjo experimentalist. I spend my time fishing my way through the great state of Wisconsin living like a river rat as often as possible. That is where I draw most of my inspiration. I then try to convey what I have seen and experienced on the river into banjo tunes and homespun songs. I have also been fortunate enough to be the banjo player for the ever progressive string band Horseshoes & Hand Grenades. Hailing from Stevens Point, WI and traveling the country since early 2010. Our band has spread smiles far and wide with upbeat danceable tunes and down to earth songwriting. A few of the songs have come from my time out on the road and a longing for home. The extremely talented Tim Foss was gracious enough to play fiddle and guitar on this album as well. I am truly thankful to have his beautiful work on this album. If you like banjos, rivers, and a bit of fishing I am sure you will enjoy this compilation of music!
