Album Notes
I like to think that I play the Autoharp the way I play the dulcimer, piano, or paint- following my muse.

In this collection of songs and solos I found the most beautiful and interesting songs, and used the Autoharp as a canvas to express my music on. I wanted this collection to be varied, fun and thought provoking. There are some traditional songs to please the 'folkies'. I also found some unusual contemporary works like the Butler Yates poem "Innisfree" which I had the honor of putting music to, and the interesting Alan Milne song "James James, Morrison Morrison". I also wrote a few,- "Mr. Pickle" being the crowd favorite along with "There You Are". ( Wherever you go, there you are!)

Although I am a fan of 'traditional' Autoharp music, this is not that type of recording. I intended this to be hopefully one that will expand the instruments range, and open the ears and hearts of listeners around the world. So far, the reaction has been wonderful- far beyond my wildest dreams.

I recorded "The Water Is Wide", which I learned from Mary Travers of Peter, Paul & Mary. She loved my version, and a few weeks after the recording was finished, Mary passed away. The song is dedicated to her, and the rest of the CD is dedicated to other harpers, and folks who have brought the beauty of the Autoharp out in my fingers and soul.

After so many years of being known as a Dulcimer player and singer, I am humbled and pleased to have a new box vibrating on my knee, and singing close to my heart. I hope it resonates in yours as well.-
