ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Ross E Martinie Eiler is a hand-hammering, key-slamming, rock’n’roll piano man. This - his debut solo record - explores the high-energy side of 1950s dance music and early soul. The record features Martinie’s Boogie Three (Joe Donnelly – saxophone, John Valdez – drums) in a flurry of bounce that combines original works with crowd-pleasers by Louis Jordan, Fats Domino, Little Richard, Ray Charles & Jerry Lee Lewis.

Ross Martinie Eiler has headlined 1950s-themed theater shows around the country, including Piano-Pumping Rock’n’Roll (produced by Lonely Street Productions – AZ) and The Birth of Rock’n’Roll (produced by One Pulse Productions – IN). He was named one of the “Best Rock’n’Roll Musicians in Southern Indiana” by the Bloomington Herald-Times. He has shared a stage with many fine musicians including Ray Charles, Bob Seeley, Carl “Sonny” Leyland, Marcia Ball, Jenn Cristy, Robert Shaw, Eddie Clendening, Michael Monroe Goodman, Durand Jones and David LaSuertmer

"You can really play!" - Bob Seeley.
