Ronnie Byrd was Born in Pittsburgh, PA, played with local bands on major labels.....The Igniters, Sweet Lighting, The Silencers, CBS Recording Artists from the 80's also had MTV music video on inaugual broadcast day. He was always on everyone else's recording & wanted his talents to shine on his own. Ron then became ill & was diagnosed with Liver Cancer (2011) & could not finish.....Tim came to Ron in the hospital & promised him that his project will be finished. Whala....VISION OF HEAVEN was produced with the donations of time & money from gigs of local musician friends. This album is AWESOME.....Vocally & musicly. IT'S A MUST HAVE

Ron would be proud
Thanks to everyone that made this CD happen. Ron would be pround. It is a great CD. I find myself singing along to the songs. "Gimme, Gimme" is a favorite. Reminds me of the late great Levon Helm. This CD is full of some great bluesy rock n roll. We miss you!

A Vision of His Own!
This guy has soul and feel. His strength is that whether or not he wrote the song, he owns it! That's the mark of a true artist and Ronnie "Byrd" Foster was a true artist. He mixes rawness and sensitivity perfectly for a whole-hearted blues experience. This man was a master of his craft and it's wonderful to have this piece of work that he left behind for us!
