Rob Susman is a featured soloist with the Duke Ellington Legacy Band. He has toured the with Chico O'Farrill's Afro-Cuban Jazz Orchestra and Salsa singer La India. He has performed with Branford Marsalis, Clark Terry, Tito Puente, Frankie Ruiz, Ismael Miranda, Liza Minelli, Jay and the Americans, Leslie Gore, Neil Sedaka and Neil Diamond.

He has been a guest musician on radio's "Rambling with Gambling" , Television's "The Vicki Lawrence Show", and Joe Pesci's MTV video "Yo Cousin Vinny". He was a guest faculty soloist with the NYU Orchestra. He can be heard playing on several nationally televised commercials as well as Broadway pit orchestras.

This CD celebrates the many nights he has performed in Brooklyn's Magnolia Restaurant. Guitarist Ed MacEachen and Bassist John Loehrke are two of Rob's favorite jazz artists. Many of the original compositions are written for members of Rob's family.

Three Guys, Can Play, Can Swing, Great Record
There is no elaborate ‘smooth jazz’ type electronic production diluting the music here. Just three guys who know how to play, and know how to swing, making a great record. Each tune is performed with verve, sensitivity, and where appropriate, wit. Had me boppin my head and tappin my feet like some roll-necked sweater wearing arts student in the 50s.

When I put the record on my CD player, my wife, who isn’t particularly a jazz fan but likes all good music said – “this is the type of jazz I like, get some more of this stuff” - I will.
