ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Welcome to:
Rich Limouze- “Shades of Maine - Acoustic Tapestry”, a collection of original acoustic guitar solos showcasing the rich heritage and abundance of life style that is the essence of the “fabric” of Maine. “Swanlake”,”Cadillac Mountain Serenade”, and “Chebeague Delight ” offer musical escapes to these wondrous destinations that delight the senses. Feel the excitement of enjoying winter and summer recreation reflected in the music of “Machias Run”, “Newport Rider”, and “Fun at the Forks”. Community pride is reflected in a musical adaptation, “Jefferson Days” and “”Blue” Berry Raker” gives recognition to Maine’s world renowned annual wild blue berry harvest. The melodic interpretations, “Morning in Maine”, “Lupin’s Song”, and “Aroostook Overtones” unfolds the rich texture that is this state. Finally this musical collage is ended on more personal introspections found in the compositions, “Song of Friendship”, “Sandy” , and “Blessings”.
