Album Notes
Derek Conrad Minigan Jr., better known by his stage name RedHead, is a rapper and entrepreneur from Hopewell, VA. He started pursing music as a young teen, after being inspired by his local rap peers and also drawing inspiration from industry artists such as: Fabolous, Trey Songz, J Cole, and Meek Mill. RedHead’s sound can be described as a mix between Hip Hop and R&B and he perfectly balances the two depending on the mood of the track. In an article written in RVA Magazine, the author described RedHead as “very versatile and less traditional in his approach to reaching his audience.” Even though his music career started in Virginia, his career really took off after moving to Tacoma, WA as a result of joining the military.
