Noa Laniakea:
Bassist and composer Noa Laniakea grew up in Buffalo, New York. After graduating from SUNY University at Buffalo with a bachelor’s in music performance, she furthered her studies at University of California, Los Angeles where she studied with Chris Hanulik and received her master’s degree, also in music performance. A self-taught composer, Noa seeks to write music that is both immediately accessible to the listener while synthesizing diverse sounds and styles in an organic way.
