ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
If you enjoy traditional "pub music"--old drinking songs and sea shanties--then you'll love QuarterMaster. Deep harmonies from a seven-man crew accompanied by bouzouki, English concertina, recorder, flute, bones and a baritone horn. Music Director James Briton Hendricks has created new arrangements in 3-part harmony, plus James contributes seven original tunes here, some with lyrics by Daniel Rover Singer of the Reduced Shakespeare Company. The style is rowdy and the sense of fun in these songs is delicious.
