Album Notes
Fortune Favors The Bald is the long-awaited follow-up to Q*Ball\'s hit debut album, Q*Ball In Space. Q explores new, introspective themes of heartbreak & regret with a more mature, yet fun - & surprisingly pop-sounding - album. Fans of his previous effort will not be disappointed, as the powerful vocals, tongue-in-cheek lyrical style, superior production values, and awesome instrumentation (aided by producer & guitar god Bumblefoot) are evident once again.

The 2nd album from this NYC-based electro-pop musician is one of those occasional gems of good music that proves that there is good, interesting pop music being made. Pop music that isn\'t pretentious shallow tripe but that actually has some depth and feeling, as well as being uncompromising party music.

FFTB has a certain teenage high-school \"coolness\" naiveté (if there ever was such a thing), a feeling and attitude like that of the 90\'s cult TV series \"Parker Lewis Can\'t Lose,\" but with a bit more kick. \"Coolness!\"

Featured on MTV\'s The Real World. Featured airplay on WLIR (NY), WFDU (NY), WHRL (NY), WHTG (NJ), KUCI (CA), WWZZ (DC), WMUC (DC), WXOU (MI), KUGS (WA), KUPS (WA), KTCL (CO), Radio Marabu (Germany), & dozens of Internet stations across the globe.

Q*Ball has performed with Gavin DeGraw, Sugar Ray, Aimee Mann, Mya, Eve 6, Splender, & more at venues ranging from NYC\'s legendary Webster Hall to Madison Square Garden.

U2, Moby, Beck, Faith No More, Nine Inch Nails, White Zombie, INXS, George Michael, B-52\'s, Duran Duran, Prince

holy shiza!! This cd is nothing short of AMAZING! I am really impressed by it, i must say. I heard the sampler from bumblefoot's production discography and knew from that that i HAD to have it!! The ol' ball Fuses technopop with rock, it's truly a unique sound. Kudos to Q*ball(and BUMBLEFOOT!!) for makin this awesome cd. i highly recommend it, folks!

Buy this CD!!!
Q*Ball has delivered a brilliant follow-up CD to Q*Ball in Space. Everyone I have played it for LOVES IT!! I don't know how he can cram so many influences and idioms under his amazing techno umbrella, but he does, with acrobatic agility. This CD is timeless and tireless, accessible and original. The title track satisfies even the hardest of the hard core and "Everything" tugs at the heart strings just as sweetly as "With or without you" or "Yesterday". Buy this CD!!!

loved it!

We All Will Be Bald Someday
I was quite astounded to put this CD in the player and find it to be even better than "Q*Ball in Space". Mr. Q*Ball has proven that indeed, fortune DOES favor the bald! The Soul Brother #1 is having fun and taking us with him. This album is a cohesive work of quirky electronica. A strong, strong work that weaves together the threads of several styles: drum n' bass and trip hop are just a few influences I heard in this album. It's remarkably good and nearly defies description and categorization: it's like the They Might Be Giants of electronica. His lyrics are funny and apt, but not all the time: sometimes they're actually quite sweet. Who says Chivalry is dead? Not Q*Ball, that's for sure.

He's going to get inside your head!
I can't stop! Can't stop, can't get enough!

Oh, how true that phrase is of Q*Ball's second album, Fortune Favors the Bald. Whereas on Q's first album he was getting himself on track and some songs are hit and miss, the follow-up album is a force to be reckoned with. Joined once again by Ron Thal, Q paves his way through pop-rock-electronica with the use of humorous imagery, constant hooks, and a voice so smooth it could act as a butter substitute.

Move out of the way Marg! Here comes Q*Ball! This is his showcase.

Fantastic! Other like-minded techno-pop artists will be green with envy.
More tongue-in-cheek lyrics expound themes that many wouldn't be brave enough to tackle - like in "John Hughes" or "Who Said Chivalry Is Dead? (Not Q*Ball)." The title track is a frenetic fast-paced jumper with little time
left to breathe. Q*Ball expands the musical horizons with his songwriting skills & should be the rightful owner of the "Best New York City Musician" award, if there were such an award. Aided by producer & fellow musician god Bumblefoot, "Fortune Favors the Bald" ups the ante a thousand-fold and other like-minded techno-pop artists will be green with envy. Fantastic.

Very good high-intensity Ambiance music
This is a great CD for working out, it usually keeps a good beat and has alot of energy, also it is also fun to just listen to while driving or playing video games

One of my new favorite artists! YAY!
I first heard Q*Ball on NoneRadio, and a friend gave me the CD. AWESOME. Bumblefoot also rules the world and sounds great on this CD! It's a lot of fun and not a lot of CDs are lots of fun. Highest recommendation! We'll all be bald someday...

Really unique sounds from a really unique person. I highly suggest this album, great guitarwork from Bumblefoot as well.
