Album Notes
The 21st Century is turning out to be such a disappointment! All those 20th Century promises of pleasant living and more leisure time laid to waste by multi-national corporations and terrorists. But never mind that.

Here comes the new Prozak for Lovers-- 10 songs of alienation and disenfranchisement made soothing and warm. Under the Prozak for Lovers Treatment, each song here opens itself up to reveal the beauty that lies within. From the hopeful magic of Lithium to a lethal, yet entirely approachable, Psycho Killer, from a drop-dead sexy Blister in the Sun to a completely inexplicable Alabama Song, this collection is truly a tonic for our times.

Here is another chance for your hi-fi (or whatever playback device you may happen to own) to be happy...again.

CD Baby

In case you didn't hear or you haven't been in the loop, yes, the new Prozak for Lovers album is here. One of the top sellers of all time at CD Baby- customers have gone mega-nuts over this. All we're going to say is that these are some surprising and alarming reincarnations of your favorite songs from the 70s, 80s and 90s. Relive those moments with the cool hiss of a loungey, bossa nova atmosphere.

More wonderfulness from the land of Shake Believe. Led Zep's "Misty Mountain Hop" is a classic.

Cure for the common hangover
This cd is so easy to listen to. It's great before, during and after the party and as a hangover cure, just hop on a float in the pool and be healed. It's better than lying on the couch watching golf!

Hums, Somnulence, and the Lash
Great background music for cocktail parties...wait until someone actually recognizes the tune!

Qu'est que c'est?
I have to admit to enjoying the first Prozak CD a little more. Probably the lack of instant novelty factor this time round, however I was definitely missing the female contribution. However, I don't know anything like these albums and they do have a very real ability to take you to another place, and that makes them something special. My personal highlight has to be Psycho Killer - the whispered lyric "...Qu'est que c'est?" had me in stiches - I totally anticipated it, it just seemed to fit so perfectly. Lastly while the finale "Alabama Song" left me somewhat baffled, overall I found this album to be ... smooth. p.s. Can we have one of these every Christmas please. Cheers.

A great continuation of Prozak for Lovers
If you liked Prozak for Lovers, you\'ll definitely enjoy this; this album is more of the same, and I mean that in the best way.

psycho killer
this is an unexpected sound for a song with a title like psycho killer. it's sounds like something you would hear in a cafe on a sunny summer day.

Just another RAVE REVIEW!
Yeah, okay, by now you know...everyone LOVES Prozac for Lovers. I'm no exception. It's freakin' awesome. If you have both Prozac CDs, I would recommend another bossa nova CD by Todd Rundgren call With A Twist. It's not a CD baby item, but worth a visit elsewhere. XOXOX, P

Get Ready to PARTY
Bought the first one and never looked back. Now Prozak for Lovers presents ten more smart and ironic covers of classic and hard rock songs. The results are of course goofy, giddy, pointlessly indulgent, and extremely silly, but damned if this ain't the best party album I've heard all year. This CD is ideal for relaxing, reading and studying, and, of course, cocktail hour.
