ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
The Principles formed in October of 2006.They are
a throwback group to the haydays of hip hop.
Komatose is an MC/Producer, R-SuN TR8 is an MC as well
and Touchnice is the DJ of the group.Influenced
by artists such as DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince,KRS ONE
and Chino XL to name a few.The message they bring is of
a familiar tune."Save Hip Hop, Kill A Rapper" is a slogan
they choose to use frequently. The Groups main focus is on
lyricism.Material things have made this art form less about
talent and more about bank statements. The groups debut album
"Higher Standards" is also their way of letting people know
their position in the hip hop community.
