Album Notes
Peter Donegan has taken it to invite a special audience of ultra fans to the famous Studio 2 in the old Decca Recording Studios (Now Lilian Bailis House of the English National Opera) where his late father, The Godfather of British Rock n Roll - Lonnie Donegan recorded his British Industry Changing hit - Rock Island Line (which inspired every British invasion band amongst many, many others).
To celebrate the 65th anniversary of Lonnie recording Rock Island Line, this track is also included on this raw and energetic album which shows Peter as the powerhouse of a performer he really is.
This mixed in with Peter's own Country Music and Americana compositions plus special additions of the songs Peter performed on The Voice UK 2019 as part of Sir Tom Jones' team which include the viral sensation, 'I'll Never Fall In Love Again' which was not only a huge hit for Sir Tom, but was composed by Peter's father. (Coincidentally this song was recorded in the same building by Sir Tom Jones on the Decca label in 1967)
There is not a dull moment on this album and you can listen to this time and time again.
