ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Paundy’s follow up to last year’s Here’s Roebuck has finally come out. The new album has much of the same spontaneity and emotion of the previous album, only with better production quality and the songs are even more varied and distinct.

Paundy is comprised of two good friends- Paul Burback and Andy Miller, who have been composing and recording music together in th Seattle-area for over 12 years. We’ve played in bands, together and separate, such as: Bell, Foot of the Head, Episode, Cat from dog Mountain, Redband, and Wellwater Conspiracy.

Our influences range from Spaghetti Western and spy- music, to funk and orchestra swing as well as world and acoustic music.

This past year Paundy has been busy with a variety of projects. We’ve been helping produce songs for musicians, as well as supplying music for films, TV, commercials, and live production.

Projects include:

-Paundy - 22-song album, “Are You My Mother?” (2005)
-Paundy - 24-song album, Here’s Roebuck (2003/2004)
-Derek Burns(Singer/songwriter) - Produced and performed on studio recording.
-Ann Frodel - Produced and performed on studio recording.
-Chad Channing (Nirvana) - Produced and performed on studio recording as demo for up-coming album.
-Lara Lavi (The Lara Lavi Project) - Performed guitar and percussion for children’s DVD/book.
-Peter Wiant Productions - Supplied 5 songs for a commercial.
-Benkyo State Productions - An ongoing collaboration which includes suppling music for films and a series- production called Benkyo TV.

Alan Parsons would be proud
This album is definately interesting to listen too. It reminds me of floyd at pompei! Alan Parsons the great experimental pioneer and producer would be proud of Paundy's Space/Epic achievment.
