Bella Rosa
This's one awsome album! I was invited to play in this Band (By Cayito), but due to the distance factor(Milwaukee) I chose not to. If this Band would of been located in P.R. or N.Y. it would of definetely made it Big. Chicago has always produced Great Bands: La Justicia, La Union,La Confidencia,etc...... but have always been under rated because of the location. Hector and Carlos as Vocalist are World Class Acts. The Brass Section is all Pro. as well (Elmer,Paul,Irving,Hollywood) it doesn't get any better in the real World as far as Players. The Talent in this Band was incredible! Archie definetely was able to honed in, on all the Talents that were available to him during this time period.

WILFREDO "FREDDY" TORRES

VERY GOOD PRODUCTION BY ORQUESTA YAMBO 1983.
I recorded the Baby Bass in this album back in March 12th, 1983 when I was only (19)years old. The band was smokin' at the time playing steady every weekend for about a Year and (3) months. The Majority of the musical arrangements were done by the Piano Player and Musical Director: Mr. Archie Pereira who was to me the very first Innovator to break the Ice in Chicago as far as Professional Recordings go at that time of (1983). The Album broke many records as far as the Musicians and the Vocals are concerned, as Singer Hector Nunez recorded all (8) tunes on Lead Vocals in under (2) hours only, in Puerto Rico and no other singer to this date has recorded an (8) tune Salsa Album in under (2) hours. His Vocals here are Incredible and Powerful on every tune. This is one of the best Productions Chicago has released in a long time. (La Kilometrica Orquesta Yambo 1983).
Highly Recomended for it's Originality and Powerhouse Salsa Drive on every tune. By Baby Bass Player:(Wilfredo "Freddy" Torres) (Multi-Instrumentalist Musician). (June 2007).
