Album Notes
When I finished working on this album, I said to myself, even if I never get an opportunity to record another album, I’m absolutely pleased with myself for this album that you are about to experience. “Zvatiri” is a Shona expression that means “Who We Are”!!.

The album gave me the opportunity to explore the Passionate Soulful African Woman Musician in me. This albums says, YES LORD, you created me African, brown, with this deep horse voice and this chocolate dark skinned round body and absolutely for your pleasure and Glory and for that reason, I give it all back to you in this album!!

This album is full of the experiences of the journey that I took after I decided to answer to the call that God gave me to start a Non Governmental Organisation Tag a Life International Trust(TaLI), an organization that protects the rights of girls and young women. This album will take you through my journey of sometimes having absolutely nothing and depending on God, and also seeing God come through for me in my needs and that of establishing the organisaiton in miraculous ways.

The music in this album attests to stubborn faith, persistence, trust in the Lord, sometimes mild fears that I would overcome through song and prayer during the TaLI foundations period. It is an album that also comments on social issues, love and an exploration of sustainable development specifically to note being issues of the impoverishment of Africa and yet it is the reachest continent.

All music is written, composed in the African and Zimbabwean rhythms to bring back the traditional worship as well as to bring the social issues in a contemporary manner that appeals to the mature and the young listeners. It does have an urban feel of House Music.

Here is to an Afro Zimbabwean Traditional Contemporary Music. Enjoy!! Get in touch on
