Album Notes
Nancy Apple and Dulaa are both long-time respected Memphis Musicians. They met while doing a morning television show the day after Christmas in 2013, and instantly connected.

Dulaa invited Nancy to co-write and sing on a track, and even though she was not sure how her twanging vocals would blend with Dulaa's Memphis crunk, they got together one afternoon and the results were as sweet as mollasses. In less than one month they had their first single, BIG COUNTRY for sale on iTunes. The blending of their musical styles is as natural as their accents, and with each song they produced together it became apparent that just like Memphis musical forefathers, they have stumbled upon a new sound and style of music they call CRUNKTRY.

Together they have merged a one-of-a-kind blend of Nancy's twangy vocals and soulful swagger along with Dulaa's down home crunk-style BBQ beats, rapped around positive lyrics that reflect upon both of their country roots. Nancy's from the family farm in Arkansas and Dulaa from his Mississippi upbringing.

It's country. It's soul. It's old school Memphis crunk. It's Nancy Apple. It's Dulaa. It's CRUNTRY!!!!
