ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
2004 marks the beginning of a new reign in hip hop. Rock Most, Supreme Wordz and MVP come forth as the
dynamic trio, MSEIZE, bringing real hip hop in its truest form. Everyday guys who rap about everyday life that
everyone can relate to. The name MSEIZE, pronounced 'em-cees', is derived from the common term used
throughout rap history by partakers of the craft. The twist on the spelling represents the artists' intent: to seize the mic and take over.

Rock Most, also known as Rodney 'Jhibad' Powell was born and raised in Ravenna, Ohio. As there was not much of a rap scene in Ohio, Rock Most moved to Atlanta in 1992 to seriously pursue his hip hop career. Also a talented producer, he is responsible for the tracks heard on the MSEIZE album. He has also engineered at multi-platinum selling artist Too Shorts' Oakland City Studios, and has produced for nationally known recording artists Public Enemy. Rock Most began as a solo artist himself, while producing for other artists. After producing for Wordz for two years, Rock Most realized the chemistry they possessed together.

Born Aquanious Hasan Brown, Supreme Wordz is the second half of MSEIZE. His baritone voice and unique vocal stylings are incomparable. When asked to describe his artistic style he simply states: "Its whatever the beat brings out of me". And what it brings out is a creative wordplay nothing less than lyrical genius. Wordz was born in Maywood, Illinois, moved to Winston Salem, North Carolina, and finally settled in Atlanta, Georgia in 1996 where he began his hip hop career. Wordz has worked with other artists but ultimately partnered with Rock Most to form MSEIZE.

Mckenzie Valdez Phillips, otherwise known as MVP, came onto the scene most recently in 2003. No stranger to music, MVP has been doing his thing on the tables since the age of 14. Long before he was able to enter as a patron, MVP has been spinning in some of the hottest nightclubs in Altanta. After watching him hone his mixing and scratching skills for a while, Rock Most and Wordz invited MVP to back them up during a performance. After that it was a done deal....MSEIZE was complete.

Backed by Red Reign Entertainment, MSEIZE have stepped out and are ready take Atlanta and the rest of the world by storm with their independent release, 'OPX - The Outer Party Experience'. The 'Outer Party Experience' is for lovers of music and culture of Hip Hop. With special guest appearances from Mr. Mike of South Circle and Teabag da Herbalist of the Greasekydz; and club anthems like the single,'Go Home' to the eclectic vibes of 'Thinkin' Music', the 'OPX' has a little something for everyone. Dance a little, party a little, learn a little, feel a lot. The realism and versatility in their music and lyrics is what separates them from the Hip Hop masses.

MSEIZE have captured the best of all hip-hop and created a sound that is uniquely theirs. While others have come and gone, with the sleek vocals and savoir faire of Rock Most, the distinctively powerful and harmonious delivery of Supreme Wordz and the unrelenting turntableism of MVP, MSEIZE is here to stay.

MAKE IT SHAKE is a good dance cut. GO HOME is song about stuck up people who don't drink and don't smoke and how you need to get loose. SAY IT AINT SO has a nice vocalist and good lyrics over a smooth beat. GET LIVE is a hard hittin banger. Overall nice tracks. Visit me at www.cdbaby.com/si2 . Peace....SI
