ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Moon Theory pushes the trip-hop envelope with hypnotic and aggressive beats, mesmerising female vocals, and unearthly atmospherics.

Carefully crafted, enjoyable and accessible songs with symmetrical melodies and deeply fascinating and stirring lyrics.

Like Garbage on ecstacy, the self-titled CD tantalises with a guitar-oriented, organic beauty while injecting potent doses of futuristic chaos.

Imagine Nine Inch Nails after a few years in an ashram.

Or a track from the new Matrix Soundtrack.

Vocalist Kaeti O'Ghara commands with a powerfully engaging style likened to Bjork with the smoothness of Morcheeba and the moodiness of Portishead.

Moon Theory's lyrics and melodies have a gothic feel like Sousxie and the Banshees with an edgy burn.

Production, instrumentation, and arrangements accomplished by the alchemical TSO.

An extremely immaculate, modern and broadly appealing production quality.

Moon Theory morphs driving hiphop beats with dangerous liquid encantations both sensual and ancient.

Passionate, Eclectic, and Seductive!
This CD is an amazing combination of moods, that are at some moments dark, some etheric, and others wistful. It is a spellbinding concoction made of spirit, itellect, and passion. I was utterly captivated. "Insomnia" got my blood running, "Hunger" had me entranced, and "Blasphemy" was just plain fun. My two favorites, however, were "Primeval" and "Shapeshifter" which both had elements of world fusion and mixed akashic vocals with lyrics rich in imagry. I am utterly addicted.

awsome
The best CD I bought, I never heard anything like it before. I want to hear the rest of “blasphemy”, though. My favorite is “mother” for vocal intensity. The dialogue after “savior” (only song I don’t love) is interesting. The music and lyric message both rock.

Great production value!! Straight doin' music.
Aside from the first track and a portion of a couple other tracks, this CD is smooth like butt-ah. The first track rocks, though (nothing wrong wit varietizay). The whole CD has great production on it. It's a very pollished record. Kudos to the band, engineers, and producer.
