Bios Monsieur Max and guests

Monsieur Max
Monsieur Max finds pleasure mostly in creating his refined and intriguing music. Several of his pieces are featured on the electronica compilations The Future Sound of Montreal 1, 2 and 3. One of his pieces, « A Gigantic Spacecraft», even figured on top of’s top ten, an internet radio based in San Francisco, in June 2004.
With his solo album, Oncle bijoux, you will find the essence of his own style: imagination, colourful orchestrations, certainly groovy and humoristic, but above all, a cinematographic feeling. Oncle Bijoux was nominated best electro album 2006 at ADISQ, and Gentil Phoque in the TOP TEN songs of 2006 by Montreal's LA PRESSE.

Monsieur Max's Guests:

Muriel de Zangroniz (voice on: Le Quai, Gentil Phoque, Faust)

Anik Beaudoin (violin on Stampede, Château de Barbebleue and Oncle Bijoux)

Not just cool electro-lounge music, much more than that! Really!
Each song has its own world, it's never the same, yet the whole CD has its very own sound, it's all so coherent! Sorry for you guys that you're missing half of it here, great things are happening after 2 minutes!!

All good stuff! And different!
Love it! Love it! At least! Different emotions! not just cold cool electronic stuff etc. Not THAT electro to me by the way. So Good! Nice feelings! So many moods! Nice instruments! Like she said in the last song: If I was any Happier I would die of pleasure!! So many great songs in there!!

If I was any Happier I would die of pleasure!!
I found this CD by chance and I adore it!
It's quite difficult to define it.
It's so rich of instrumental diversity, music soundscapes and textures ranging from chill-out,electro a bit of classic & retrò!
The lyrics are ironic and fun, too.
I simply adore the last track "If I was any Happier I would die of pleasure!!"
Pure French Allure!
