Album Notes
"The missing link between The Beatles & Frank Zappa!".
Arno Hagemans, Music Maker NL.

"Man have I fallen hard for this very cool Dutch progressive rock band’s sound – so much so that we feel compelled to do whatever we can to help promote Modest Midget and the upcoming release of their new album Crysis".
Jeff Stevens, Prog Metal Zone. WORLD 2014.

"This is a great album of adventurous progressive pop music. ...I look forward to hearing more from this band in the hopefully not too distant future."
Roger Trenwith, The Progressive Aspcet. UK 2014.

Multi-Polar Music & Modest Midget are THRILLED to announce the release of Crysis, September 28th this year. Produced by Lonny (Lionel) Ziblat - singer, guitarist, composer and front-man of the group - this new album illustrates life, portrayed as a cycle consisting of several inner cycles. Each time that such a cycle ends, another one starts, and these movements are often frightening, painful and traumatic, but they also offer a chance for change and for growth.

The recording of the album commenced in December 2012, right about the time that the world was 'su-pposed' to end (at least according to some). In the midst of historic, economic, social and climatic upheaval, Modest Midget reflect their own interpretation of different occasions and experiences that play a role in our lives. Delivering their message through this concept album they wish to celebrate the diversity of different chapters and moods which eventually constitute an individual’s life.

The cd comes with a lush 24 page booklet delicately designed (and photographed) by artist Netaly Reshef.

Lady of the Lake

Just put it on loop
Uplifting. It reminds me of the happiest punk. Ironic, Love the bassline in Rocky Valleys of Dawn. "Now that we're here" is a ballad for people on meds . Great pulse. It goes well with a beer crafted somewhere in a hipster city (gentrified neighborhood).
